Hidden Book Review

Brief Summary of The Book courtesy of Zebra

Hide. That’s all Pippa can do to escape the terror chasing her. But now that she’s off the grid in a safe house, she finds plenty of interesting things to watch through the window. Like her new neighbor, with his startling green eyes, killer smile, and sexy bad-boy tattoo . . .

Run. Malcolm West is fleeing the hell he unleashed in his last assignment as an undercover cop. A backwoods bungalow sounds like the perfect place to start over. Until he discovers he’s been set up . . .

Fight. Someone’s gone to a lot of trouble to bring them together. No matter how much he resents that, and his own driving needs, Malcolm will have to dig deep and let loose the banished killer inside himself, or Pippa’s fears could come true faster than the flip of a bolt in a lock . . .

My Review

This was the first book that I read of Rebecca Zanetti's and the first one in the Deep Op's Series. I read it as part of an April Book Club. My favorite part of the story was the chemistry between the characters Pippa and Malcolm. She did a great job developing the characters giving you enough background about them to give you a foundation but too much where it was over bearing.

In addition, I really enjoyed the storyline. It was a great mix of romance, mystery and suspense. The book really had you on the edge of your seat until the very end not very knowing how it was going to end.

My only downfall of this book was it started off slow in the beginning but after a couple of chapters i got hooked and couldn't put it down. I am interested read more books in the series and see what characters she writes about next.
