Review of The Cottages on Silver Beach

Brief Summary of The Cottages on Silver Beach

Years after betraying her, he's back in Haven Point…and ready to learn the truth.

Megan Hamilton never really liked Elliot Bailey. He turned his back on her family when they needed him the most and it almost to
e them all apart. So she's shocked when Elliot arrives at her family's inn, needing a place to stay and asking questions that dredge up the past. Megan will rent him a cottage, but that's where it ends-no matter how gorgeous Elliot has become.

Coming back home to Haven Point was the last thing bestselling writer Elliot Bailey thought he'd ever do. But the book he's writing now is his most personal one yet and it's drawn him back to the woman he can't get out of his mind. Seeing Megan again is harder than he expected and it brings up feelings he'd thought were long buried. Could this be his chance to win over his first love?

My Review

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest unbiased review. I am a huge fan of RaeAnne Thayne so when I got the opportunity to read the Cottages on Silver Beach I jumped at the chance. This is the 8th book in the Haven Point series.

As always RaeAnne Thayne did a great job of creating well developed characters. From the moment that you open the book to the very last page are able to truly able to understand Megan and Elliot and their relationship. I felt even though I have read other books in the series that this one could be definitely be picked up by someone who hasn't read the other ones in the series and be just fine understanding what is going on as it stands alone fine.

In addition to well developed characters I also think that the storyline was also well done by RaeAnne. The mystery aspect in adds in addition to the romance really keeps you interested through out the story.

I can't wait to read the next book in the series to see what she has in store for us as readers!
